Status: BLOG TOUR!

Good morning, cupcake lovers! Today I bring you a special treat- the blog tour for STALKING JACK THE RIPPER, a highly anticipated read for me and one of the most amazing covers I’ve seen in EVER. Please welcome:

(Yes, I’m one of the Knights of Whitechapel, and that’s the coolest thing ever. Shhhh)

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Rose Wadsworth was born a lord’s daughter, with a life of wealth and privilege stretched out before her. But between the social teas and silk dress fittings, she leads a forbidden secret life.

Against her stern father’s wishes and society’s expectations, Audrey often slips away to her uncle’s laboratory to study the gruesome practice of forensic medicine. When her work on a string of savagely killed corpses drags Audrey into the investigation of a serial murderer, her search for answers brings her close to her own sheltered world.

Sounds awesome, no? I love the feel of the whole thing- mystery, Jack the Ripper, and a brief summary that leaves you hanging a little bit. You know how sometimes you read summaries that are like 6 paragraphs and you feel like you’ve read the book? This is not that, and it just makes me want it MOOOOOORE.

To tide you over the next 8 days, here’s the cupcake you need to make to get in the mood!

American Heritage Cooking is BACK! I used Lindsey’s cupcakes previously when I reviewed We’ll Never Be Apart, and these Death by Chocolate cupcakes have been on my mind for ages! Make sure you click the links to get the info behind it, since I didn’t take this gorgeous photo. Just thinking about these cupcakes makes my mouth water. And the murderously good chocolate jump-ropes perfectly with the murder mystery at the heart of Stalking Jack the Ripper. You know you want it. Go pre-order it, put it on hold at the library, or get it sent to your kindle, because you WILL NOT want to miss this!

YUM. Not only do these look tasty but they are a great match to the book.

  2. Aww thanks for using my Death by Chocolate Cupcakes again! This book looks really good! I just finished “Delicious!” by Ruth Reichl, and I loved it. Books about books and food are my weakness!
